I joined Dr. Oatley’s Laboratory at Washington State University in Fall 2017 as a PhD student, after obtaining a Master degree in Veterinary Clinical Science (WSU) with focus in Theriogenology. In Dr. Oatley’s laboratory, we study the regulation of spermatogonia stem cells pathways in the mammalian testis. In general, I am interested in expanding my knowledge in assisted reproductive technology and genome editing in livestock species. In this lab, I have also the opportunity to learn more about novel genome editing technologies as CRISPR/Cas9 system. Currently, I am working on spermatogonial stem cell transplantation in domestic pigs.
